The Importance Of Supervision

Supervision is important because supervision helps people do certain things better and it also enables one to evaluate whether an individual is ready or not to take the lead.

Parental supervision

Parental supervision is not something that is implemented in order to prevent children from having a good time; instead it is implemented to protect children from danger and corruption. When children get older it is only normal that their curiosity is going to build therefore it is the job of the parents to be extra careful. For example, if your son claims that he wants to use the laptop to research garden tools online then you should make sure that you check on him after a few hours to make sure that he is not looking at sites that he is not supposed to. Parental supervision is also advisable when teenagers are going on school trips as looking after a bunch of teenagers might be a bit too much for just one or two teachers to handle on their own.

Knowing when to let go

Being a parent your child will be the most important thing in the world to you and it is normal that you would want to do everything in your power to protect them from harm. However, it is vital that you know when to start letting go because giving your child independence is important to help build their character. Even though it may hurt you to see your child make mistakes there may be times where you will have to let them make mistakes as making mistakes is the only way they would learn never to repeat the same mistake. After a certain point you will have to teach yourself on how not to interfere with every aspect of your child’s life because eventually they will have to make their own decisions. If you keep making decisions for your child then after a certain point they will not be able to make decisions themselves which would cause them to become very dependent on other people.

Ready for the job

In work environments things such as internships and a three month probation period allows employers to train their employees while supervising them as well and have the quality steel hand tools. After the internships or probation is over, the supervisor can evaluate the individual’s performance which will allow the supervisor to know whether the individual is ready or not. As a supervisor, if you think that the individual is not ready then you should consider giving them more time to train because by giving the individual more time to train might help prepare them to tackle the task at hand.
